Tokyo Tech Talks #3: Meet the Speakers
Ocean Evers-Peete of SOUNDRAW will explore how images and audio can be deconstructed and rebuilt as data, and Keenan Thompson of Arcnem AI will talk about Arcnem Vision and applied image analysis.
We’re announcing the speakers for Tokyo Tech Talks #3.
This event is about how systems turn signals into experience. One talk starts with media itself: how images and audio break down into raw data and become something new. The other looks at applied image analysis and what it takes to make vision systems useful in real workflows.
The Speakers
Ocean Evers-Peete
Fullstack Engineer, SOUNDRAW Inc
Media formats like images and audio are data — and data is always a simplified version of something real. Strip away the format and you’re left with raw numbers that can be reshaped into something entirely new.
With code or tools like Touch Designer we can show how images and audio can be deconstructed, exchanged, and rebuilt — and what that process reveals about the nature of creative data.
Keenan Thompson
CEO, Arcnem AI
Applied image analysis is not just about recognizing what is in an image. It is about turning visual input into something a system can route, interpret, and act on.
Keenan will talk about Arcnem Vision and what it takes to move from OCR, embeddings, segmentation, and retrieval to real workflows that people can actually use.
